University Public School Phoenix

University Public School Phoenix (UPSP) is a tuition free public charter school managed by University Public Schools, Inc. (UPSI) working in partnership with Phoenix Elementary District #1 and in affiliation with Arizona State University (ASU). It provides an innovative, hands-on curriculum developed by ASU faculty in collaboration with UPSI to advance student learning and leverages the highest quality of professional development for teachers and staff.

The focus of UPSP is fostering a multi-age, team teaching, student-centered learning environment where each child has an Individualized Learning Plan with a focus on problem solving through cooperative learning.

The research-based curriculum and teaching methodologies seamlessly integrate technology as a learning tool and promote critical and creative thinking, increasing student achievement through educational innovation. Students benefit from the availability of ASU resources in all fields of study, which contributes to an overall college-going culture.
