Substitute Services

Substitute teachers or guest teachers serve in the absence of a regular contracted teacher. Guest teachers must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and hold a valid Substitute Teaching certificate. Being a substitute teacher is also a great way for individuals who are working toward a degree in education to gain valuable classroom experience.

Individuals interested in applying to be a Substitute Teacher must fill out online application.

Once you fill out an application, you will be contacted by an HR representative for a pre-screening interview where you will need to provide copies of your official transcripts, 3 letters of recommendation, an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and an Arizona Substitute Certificate.
