2018 Taipei Chinese Cultural Summer Camp

The District held the 2018 Taipei Chinese Cultural Summer Camp of Arizona for our summer PEER children at Magnet Traditional. This is the 22nd year of the camp. The camp is led by Taipei Camp President Lin Ling Lee.

There were different activities held in each classroom including: nature art, paper folding, paper cutting and 3D arts, a self-defense class and yo-yo. At Heard Elementary School there were students who learned different dances and musical instruments, too.

This camp is held during the summer for PEER students ages 6-16.. The purpose is to teach the younger generation culture awareness and diversity, building teamwork and leadership skills, establish international relationships, and to appreciate the different cultures and their perspectives on the world.

Thank you Lin Ling Lee & Taipei Chinese Cultural Camp!
