ParentVUE Questions and Answers

Q: How do I activate my ParentVUE Account? 

A: Follow the directions in your Activation Key. You will need to type in the First Name, Last Name, and Activation Key exactly as listed on the bottom of the page.  If you have difficulty logging in using this information, please contact your school office. If leaving a message please explain the specifics of the problem and provide your contact information. We cannot address your personal computer, network or internet connection issues.


Q: We are new to Phoenix #1, how do we get an activation key?

A: Please stop by your student’s school office and ensure that they have your current information and Email address.  The school site may generate an Activation Key for you or you may request it be emailed.


 Q: I have more than one child in school. Do I need separate Activation Keys for each child?  

A: No, a single activation key will allow you to see all your children attending a Phoenix Elementary School District #1 school.


Q: I tried my Activation Key and it doesn’t seem to work. What should I do? 

A: Carefully check that you have entered your First Name, Last Name and Activation Key exactly as printed on your letter. If you have difficulty logging in using this information, please contact your school office. If leaving a message please explain the specifics of the problem and provide your contact information. We cannot address your personal computer or network and internet connection issues.


Q: My child’s attendance is incorrect. What should I do? 

A: Please contact the school office, if you believe that the attendance for your child is incorrect.


Q: Some information on My Account is incorrect. How do I change it? 

A: You may call your child’s school and ask about any documents that you may need to provide to the office.


Q: How do I change my password? 

A: You can change your password after activating ParentVUE. On My Account tab, under your name and date, click on ‘To change your password click here’.  Change your password and save it in a secure place.  Please do not share your account or password with others, this tool is for your use to help you see information about your child or children.


Q: Is where my children go to school or other information available to anyone on the internet?  

A: ParentVUE is accessed over the internet and is secured via a user name and password. Parents can see information about their children only and not see other children’s information.


Q: How do I see my other children’s information?  

A: Once you are logged into ParentVUE, you will see each of your children’s first names listed in the menu at the top of the page.  Click on a child’s name to view their specific information.


Q: Is there a way to contact my child’s teacher? 

A: Yes, you may email a teacher by clicking on the teacher name link or the envelope icon to send an email message. We encourage you to contact your student’s teacher when you have questions about their progress, homework, quiz or test scores and grades.  Our teachers look forward to hearing from our families and working together for your child’s success in school.


Q: Now that I have a ParentVUE account how do I find out about other programs the district may have available for my child?  

A: Please visit our district website for more information and links to many resources and program that you may find helpful.


Q: I may have a custody or contact concern about my child and their information. What should I do?  

A: Please go to your child’s school and make them aware of any concerns you may have and bring any legal paperwork you may have that addresses your concerns.


Q: I am only seeing some of my children when I log into ParentVue.  What should I do? 

A: If you are the Parent or legal guardian of the child that you are not seeing listed, please go to the school and update any necessary paperwork.
