Emerson’s 100th Anniversary

Emerson’s 100th Anniversary

Emerson School recently celebrated their 100th anniversary by hosting a communitywide fair. To honor the school’s 100-year legacy, Emerson, in partnership with the Arizona Sustainability Alliance and nearly 100 volunteers, planted 100 trees and plants for future generations to enjoy. In addition, guests enjoyed an outdoor school health fair with music, food, and activities. As part of the festivities, second and third graders performed an original song written for the anniversary, students read their winning essays detailing what they love about Emerson School, and Emerson alumni returned to campus to dig up a time capsule. We were also thrilled to welcome Fox 10 and Arizona Family for live news broadcasts from the school, as well as the Arizona Republic. Now we would like to take a few minutes to share one of the news segments.
