Reopening Parent/Community Forum and Governing Board Meeting

Families are invited to a virtual Return to In-Person Learning Community Forum on Thursday, December 17, from 6 – 7 p.m.  Parents will hear information on how the district will safely reopen schools when the health benchmarks are met.

The district created a Return to In-Person Learning Plan to provide parents with information on how the district will reopen and operate its schools to ensure students and staff remain healthy.  A copy of the plan is being mailed to all families over the winter break, or you may view the plan by clicking this link.

In addition, the next meeting of the District’s Governing Board is Thursday, January 7, 2021.  At this meeting, the Board will review the district’s COVID-19 health data and determine if we meet the metrics to safely reopen for in-person learning. We will communicate the Governing Board’s decision with families on January 8.

We wish you and your family a happy holiday season and want to remind you to remain healthy over the winter break by wearing masks, washing hands, social distancing, and remaining home if showing signs of illness.  We look forward to seeing your children in their virtual classrooms on January 4.
