01 Jun Student Vaccination Sites
The COVID-19 vaccine is now available for children 12 years of age and older. We are proud to partner with the Phoenix Union High School District to host vaccination sites at 14 schools throughout Phoenix to better serve our communities; and two of those vaccination locations will be right here in the Phoenix #1 District.
The Spread Love, Not COVID: Student Edition vaccination events will take place on June 11th and 12th and July 9th and 10th at Magnet Traditional School, Herrera School for the Arts and Dual Language, and Garfield School. In addition, students and family members may attend any of the other 14 school locations. While at the vaccination clinics, families will also receive food boxes in June, and backpacks and school supplies in July. Parents can register their children to receive the vaccine, or simply walk in without an appointment.
In order for us to plan on the number of people wanting to receive the COVID shot, we ask that you complete a survey and let us know how many people you plan to have vaccinated. (Click this link Student Vaccination Event to complete the survey.)
More information will be available in the near future on the exact times of the vaccination events and how to pre-register your family members. This information will be posted to the district website and all school Peachjar flyerboards on our websites.
